Resilience Goddess
This goddess has been in the works for several months now. She is structured after a Tibetan Bodhisattva but I substituted a phoenix -a classic resilience symbol- as her mount. She is definitely in the Yidem school of goddesses.
Ume, hepatica, bamboo, and willow are just a few of her plant symbols.
The stain glass pattern started out as an organic development of the watercolor but also plays quite well into some of my personal imagery/symbols for strength.
There are a lot of iridescent highlights on this one that sadly won't be visible in the digital images.

New Misfit Goddess Underway...
Goddess of Productive Energy
Note the new take on the monkey bird for this one- a humming bird/ capuchin. The flowers are cardinal flowers, chamomile, and red clover all of which have have meanings pertaining to energy.
Inspired by the endless activity of my new puppy Dharma, I'm thinking of naming this Goddess Frenea.
