Pencils

Pencils for the first six pages of my friend's comic story. I'm breaking up the script and doing the layouts/ first pencils and he will be painting the final art over top with his cintique.

I learned a lot from this project. Mainly that when I'm not so self-conscious about my work , I can really produce. I'm going to get to work on my comic and use this method of making a set of  pages and then coming back to them to tighten up the art.

A new Goddess underway

Here's the under-drawing for the next in the Misfit Goddess series:

I'm contemplating a rather obnoxious color scheme for Gracie. Flying orangutans already set the stage for a nice bright orange. I may post the color studies if they turn out anything interesting.

Summer Time: New work shall commence...

Here's the sketch of the companion painting to Venus Liber. I've just begun searching for the next Venus reference to become a new misfit goddess for this series.

My Dad requested this image so I sketched it for him this afternoon at my parent's house and he scanned it.
